In some cases we simply help authors clear all the hurdles in their way to self-publish their own books. Other times we can take a more hands-on approach, it all depends on the needs of that specific project. While our illustration services cater primarily to children's book, our book publishing services are available for all family-friendly genres.

Ink Wonderland can format your book's manuscript, covers, illustrations, and interior to be print-ready with all major publishing services such as Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. We offer hardcover, paperback, and spiral bound format options. We are happy to provide affordable ISBN numbers and barcodes to get your book ready for retail sale. The books we publish through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark are available for sale at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and other retailers.

How to Get Your Book Published
So your book is written and illustrated, but what comes next? Below you will find some common questions authors must ask themselves during the publishing process.
Start with the basics:
1) Are you interested in self-publishing and printing? Do you need Ink Wonderland to handle the entire process, or do you want to manage your book by yourself?
2) Do you need an ISBN number and barcode?
3) Is your manuscript formatted correctly for your printing company? That is, are your page dimensions correct and margins setup properly? Do you need a copyright page, table of contents, page numbers, etc.?
4) Do you need covers or a book spine?
5a) Is your book intended only for personal use, or are you wanting to make money by selling copies?
5b) Do you have a viable marketing strategy including book signings, book readings, commercials, ads, etc.?
6) What genre is your book, and what categories does it fit into? Do you have effective keywords in mind to help customers find your book?

Book Marketing & Promotion
Ink Wonderland does not generally provide book marketing services. We specialize in creative development, illustrating, formatting, printing, and publishing. However, the your book will also need marketing and promotional efforts in order to commercially succeed.
We do work with business partners who provide marketing assistance, but as it is not our specialty we encourage authors to develop their own marketing strategy tailored to the specific needs of their book.
